Therapy
Therapy as a Space for Reflection, Understanding and Change
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes life feels overwhelming, relationships become strained, difficult experiences continue to have an impact, or a situation feels stuck. At other times, people may be looking for a space to reflect, make sense of their experiences, or explore questions about themselves, their relationships or their future.
Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, think together and explore what matters most. It is a space where experiences can be spoken about, perspectives considered and new understandings developed.

Initial Consultation
The first meeting provides an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy and what you hope the conversations might offer.
Therapy is collaborative. There is no expectation that you will have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. Together, we will explore what feels important, paying attention to your experiences, relationships and the wider influences that may be shaping your situation.
The pace of therapy is guided by your needs and circumstances. Some people seek support for a brief period, whilst others value a longer-term space for reflection and development.
My Approach
My practice is grounded in systemic, relational and collaborative principles. I am interested in understanding people within the context of their lives. This means paying attention not only to individual experiences, but also to relationships, family, culture, community, identity, history and the wider systems that influence how people experience themselves and others.
I do not believe that people's difficulties can always be understood through simple explanations. Instead, I seek to create a space where curiosity, conversation and reflection can support deeper understanding and open up new possibilities. At the heart of my approach is a belief that people bring expertise about their own lives and experiences. My role is not to provide predetermined answers, but to work alongside you, helping to explore perspectives, identify strengths and develop understandings that feel meaningful and useful.
Online and In-Person Therapy
Therapy is available online and, where appropriate, in person. Online therapy can offer a flexible and accessible way of engaging in therapeutic conversations whilst remaining in a familiar environment. Many people find that online sessions provide the same opportunity for reflection, connection and meaningful dialogue as face-to-face work. Further details regarding availability, fees and session arrangements can be discussed during an initial enquiry.
Taking the First Step
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. If you would like to discuss whether therapy might be helpful, please get in touch. Together we can consider what you are looking for and whether this feels like the right fit for you.
